Exact flow

How to adjust zoom on the app settings screen.

The zoom setting is local to the TV display. It is useful for dashboards, menus, slides, and webpages that were designed for a different screen size.

1

Double press Back

While the webpage is showing, press Back twice on the TV remote. Screen Keep opens the settings menu.

2

Move to Zoom percentage

Use the D-pad to move through settings until Zoom percentage is highlighted.

3

Raise or lower the value

Increase zoom when the page is too small. Decrease zoom when content is clipped or too large.

4

Save settings

Move to Save settings and press OK. Screen Keep returns to the live webpage with the new size.

Good zoom habits

Start near 100 percent

Most web pages should begin at 100 percent. Change in small steps until the important content fits cleanly.

Use lower zoom for cropped pages

If the page edges are missing, reduce zoom. This gives the webpage more room inside the TV frame.

Use higher zoom for tiny dashboards

If text is readable only up close, raise zoom so the TV shows fewer page pixels at a larger size.

FAQ

Zoom questions

Does zoom change the actual webpage?

No. Zoom only changes how Screen Keep displays the page on that TV. It does not edit the source webpage.

What zoom value should I use?

Start at 100 percent, then adjust in small steps. Use lower values for cropped pages and higher values for pages that look too small.

How do I reopen settings later?

Press Back twice on the TV remote while Screen Keep is showing content. The settings screen will open again.

Next step

Once the page fits, finish the rest of the screen setup.

After zoom looks right, you can leave the TV running or move on to refresh timing, scheduling, and remote management.
